Fun Factory, Inc. and the University of Hawaii have once again made the dreams of 20 Hawaii high school graduates come true. Since 1988 Fun Factory has donated over $375,000 towards the college education of our youth in Hawaii.
Each year Fun Factory and the University of Hawaii award $20,000 ($1,000 for each selected scholar) and 20 one-year tuition waivers to outstanding high school seniors who will attend the University of Hawaii their freshman year.
Students selected as Fun Factory/University of Hawaii scholars are notified prior to graduation and are featured in a full-page newspaper ad in July.
Deadline for submitting an application is February 1 of a student’s senior year.
Applications are available from high school counselors or online at the UH SEED Scholarships Website
Fun Factory donates $5,000 a year for students entering their sophomore year at the University of Hawaii. The program is available only to students who were Fun Factory/University of Hawaii scholars their freshman year. The University of Hawaii selects the five students at the end of their freshman year. Each student receives $1,000 and is featured in the same full-page newspaper ad that announces the recipients of the Fun Factory/University of Hawaii scholarships.
